Since March 21, 2022, I have been on a leave of absence from the University of Chicago in order to serve at the U.S. Treasury. For the past year, I served as Counselor to the Secretary, but was recently confirmed by the U.S. Senate to serve as the Deputy Undersecretary for International Finance.
